Having broken jaws or limbs? You need Dr. Cameron Clokie

Dr. Cameron Clokie is a very renowned Oral maxillofacial surgeon, a scientist and an entrepreneur. Founder of Induce Biologics; a company that is focusing on producing musculoskeletal reconstruction solution through the use of regenerative protein known as bio morphogenetic protein (BMP), which was discovered at the University of California in the 1950s by Marshall Urist.

Marshall Urist, a deceased orthopedic surgeon whom Dr. Cameron worked under him for almost four years, also discovered other growth-inducing proteins within the bone’s matrix. Marshall used this BMP to foster regeneration of limb bones. Most famously, used it also to reconstruct lost bones around the teeth of singer Dionne Warwick.

Dr. Cameron performed his first reconstruction procedure in 1999 using BMP. He realized that the surgery needed three milligrams of the protein, which he sourced it by grinding forty cadavers. This was not a recommended source especially for commercial purposes, so Dr. Cameron turned to US biotech company.

Dr. Cameron uses this protein to coaxes stem cells to regenerate a new bone as they grow in a little child. Dr. Cameron was also able to apply this process successful recently on Mr. Paul Russel. Russel had his jaw bone removed when he underwent a surgical procedure to remove a tumor on his cheek. Read more: Dr. Cameron Clokie Gives His Quick Tips for Tooth Care While Traveling

The surgery was performed at Toronto General Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. Since then, Dr. Cameron has successfully helped eight patients. He believes that this innovative surgery procedure will revolutionize medicine research on regenerative tissues and a relief to spinal cord problems.

Education background

Dr. Cameron graduated from McGill University as Doctor of Dental Surgery and also a Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He served as professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Toronto University.

He is also an author; his work mostly based on his research in regeneration of tissues studies. His papers have been published both internationally and nationally and have presented his experiments to conventions globally.

Bloomberg reveals that Dr. Cameron Clokie retired from academics in 2017 and now concentrates on his company, Induce Biologics. He is experimenting on generating BMP by injecting the genes producing these proteins on goat embryos. He argues that goats will be able to produce this protein in large quantities through their milk.

A Universal Truth Is Out Of Reach For George Soros

The billionaire philanthropist, George Soros has been working towards providing a better life for the people of the world after spending much of his own life seeking out new ways of developing his Open Society Foundations network of charitable groups. The open society has always been a major influence on the work being completed by George Soros after he made his way to the top of the financial industry despite beginning his career with a plan to remain a Wall Street figure for just five short years in the 1950s; despite becoming one of the most successful hedge fund managers on Wall Street in the second half of the 20th-century and maintaining that position into the 21st-century, Soros has always maintained he works to achieve success in a bid to work on behalf of the people of the world trapped in closed societies and who are robbed of their rights.

For George Soros, the quest for a universal truth about life he is leading has led to him joining the continuing move towards creating an open society where each person has the chance to live the life they choose free from intimidation. In an article for The Atlantic, George Soros revealed his belief in an open society led to h8im gaining an understanding of why the universal truth about the most positive way of living a life cannot be identified from within the world we are living. Any universal truth about the political and economic success being achieved is always limited by the belief in any ideology dominating the community in which we live; George Soros has explored the open society ideology and agrees with philosopher Karl Popper that any overriding political ideology has already begun to fail as the belief in a dominant ideology leads to the political landscape shifting towards the society beginning to fail.

The Open Society Foundations reports George Soros has become increasingly concerned about the role being played by the U.S. in global politics and the leadership of the nation in maintaining global security. Soros explains the U.S. is developing a global position similar to that of the U.K. in the years leading up to the First World War; the failure of the British Empire to police itself during the last days of its domination led to a series of conflicts the world’s leading power refused to become involved in during its role as the policeman of the world. In the view of George Soros, the current position of the U.S. in refusing to develop its role as part of the security of the world is leading to the global insecurity that is threatening to be seen in a period of conflict seen throughout the world.

Jim Larkin: Ireland’s Hero

When you look at the country of Ireland today, you see a wealthy nation that is rich in culture, heritage, and history. Read more: Jim Larkin – Biography

The pride of the Irish is one that is hard to compete against and, the many historical figures that made Ireland what it is today, ought to be thanked for their hard work and sacrifice. Having said that, there is perhaps no better person to talk about than Dublin’s own, Jim Larkin.

In taking a look at how great of an impact Jim Larkin had on his country and people around him, we will go in detail on his early life, his organized movements, and the commemorations and tributes he has received after his long life of dedication to the greater good. Without further ado, here is the life of Ireland’s Hero, Jim Larkin.

Early Life

Even though he goes by the name of Jim, Jim Larkin was born James Larkin in January of 1876 in Liverpool, England. Growing up in the slums of Liverpool, Jim took this humble beginning and found a way to make it through. Perhaps this upbringing would motivate him into making life better not only for himself but for those who lived just like him.

Despite the fact, Jim managed to deal with little formal education and not much of a childhood, due to the fact that he had to provide his family with as much income as he could. Very early on a child, he had to learn the value of hard work. A normal day for young Jim would be to go to school in the mornings, and work in the afternoon, every day.

Not only was it his way of living that he had to deal with very early on, but also personal tragedies. At just the age of fourteen, Jim lost his father who he worked alongside. It was the first time in his life he had lost someone he was really close to.

However, all of this turmoil he went through is important to mention because, despite it all, he managed to become a full-time trade union organizer by early 1900’s. This would be the start of his historic legacy.

Organized Movements For the Greater Good

As mentioned before, it was his early life that motivated him into fighting for the good of people. This is why, as a trade union movement organizer, he made a life-long dedication to encouraging socialism, getting rid of capitalism, and showing commitment and love hatred to the underprivileged.

It was with this mindset, that he would go on to organizing the Irish Labor Movement, the Dublin Lockout and much more work in other countries such as the United States. All of which had the greater good of the people in his mind and, more importantly, as his main priority.

Commemorations and tributes

It is no surprise that because of Jim’s great accomplishments, that he would go on to be commemorated in many songs, monuments, and pieces of literature, as only great heroes are. Since his passing, Jim has been the topic of literature from the likes of Patrick Kavanagh, Brendan Behan, and Frank O’Connor, just to name a few.

He even has a song called “The Lockout”, by Joe O’ Sullivan, in which it describes his organization of the Dublin Lockout. There is also a statue of him called “Big Jim” in the streets of Dublin, in his honor.

Needless to say, Jim Larkin was a great man not just for Ireland, but for people in general worldwide, however, Ireland has the privilege of calling him their hero.

Inmates Secrets Exposed Using Securus Technologies

My job as a corrections officer is dangerous enough, I do not need the inmates getting their hands on all sorts of contraband and making life for all others on the inside deadly. It is bad enough these inmates outnumber my team of officers, you bring drugs and weapons in the fold and now we are in for the fight of our lives. In order to maintain order, we have a number of resources available to use each day.

Using drug-sniffing dogs and full body scanning equipment will help to control some of the problem, but it isn’t enough. For many years we used the inmate call monitoring system to try and listen to the inmates taking to those on the outside. The problem with the old system was that it took too many officers to work and the results were less than stellar. That all changed the day that Securus Technologies installed the new system in our prison.

Securus Technologies is based in Texas, headed by CEO Richard Smith, and has 1,000 dedicated employees who are all working to make the world safer. The LBS software does the work of a team of officers, being able to scan all the calls and find certain conversations about contraband, then alerting the officers as to which calls to pay attention to.

After my team and I were more familiar with the software, we could not believe what we discovered. One call revealed that an inmate did have an illegal cellphone that he needed his mother to buy more minutes for him. One call revealed an inmate was getting drugs from his sister to sell in the jail. Another inmate talked about how he hid a weapon in the yard just in case he needed some protection. Each time we took action swiftly.
